Eco Tuk Tuk - Portugal · Cais do Sodré
An electric tuk-tuk picks you up under the Mercado da Ribeira and a driver-guide takes just your group along the river to Belém for two hours. It suits couples and families who want the main sights, a seat between them, and no strangers.

Eco Tuk Tuk sends you off from level -1 of the Mercado da Ribeira car park at Cais do Sodré; the entrance faces number 30 on Praça Dom Luís I. The vehicle is 100% electric, with blankets and rain covers. You pass under the 25 de Abril bridge, then stop at Pastéis de Belém (10 minutes), the Jerónimos Monastery (15), the Belém Tower garden (15) and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos (10), and pass MAAT on the way back.
Every one of those stops is outside. The Padrão is a ten-minute photo stop, and the EUR 10 ticket to go up isn't included (the monument's ticket page), nor is any other entry fee. The tart at the bakery is at your own expense, though the driver gets you past the queue.
About the price: Viator shows it per person, priced for two people sharing the tuk-tuk. The vehicle is booked privately, up to four passengers, and the price depends on how many tuk-tuks your group needs. Be on time. The operator shortens the tour if you're late and cancels it without refund after 15 minutes.
Go down to level -1 of the Parque Mercado da Ribeira (entrance opposite Praça Dom Luís I 30) and follow the Eco Tuk Tuk signs. The guide waits inside.
West along the river past the docks and under the bridge.
A tart at the original bakery, paid on the spot, with the queue skipped.
The facade and the story of the monks. No entry.
Photos of the tower from the lawn by the river.
A quick stop by the monument and the wind rose, then back past MAAT.
★★★★★We did a 2 hour tour of Belém with Arthur and we enjoyed it so much that we booked another tour of other areas of Lisbon with him the very next day! Arthur is so knowledgeable and very entertaining.
★★★★★Arthur was exceptional, very informative from a boots-on-the ground today's experience with a historical background context [...] And the Tuk Tuk was immaculate, like new, very quiet unlike the others we have experienced, highly recommend.
★★★★★He drove calmly and very carefully.. as we advanced he was describing the places .. stopped at the Pastels of Bethlehem, the Tower of Bethlehem and the Pattern of Discoveries! We had a great tour.
