LivingTours · Baixa, Rua da Conceição
LivingTours fits Belém and downtown Lisbon into four hours, with eight people in an air-conditioned minivan and a guide who drives you between the stops. Choose it if your legs, your parents' legs or the August heat rule out a long walk.

You start at the LivingTours office at Rua da Conceição 23 in the Baixa and drive out along the river to Belém. There the listing gives you 30 minutes at Belém Tower and 30 at the Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Monument to the Discoveries), equal to the longest stop on any tour here. The van passes the Jerónimos Monastery without stopping, then you get a pastel at Pastéis de Belém, with the queue skipped.
The second half is in town: 30 minutes in Chiado and 30 on Praça do Comércio. Guests mention a viewpoint on the way. The van keeps the walking short, which is why reviews come from people travelling with their mothers or with bad knees.
Know what you're not getting. Neither monument visit goes inside: the Padrão stop is outside, and its EUR 10 ticket is extra (the monument's ticket page). Jerónimos is a drive-by. The listing contradicts itself on hotel pickup: the summary says central hotel transfers are included, the exclusions say only on the private option. Plan to meet at the office.
Meet at the LivingTours office in the Baixa and board the minivan.
A walk round the outside of the tower on the river.
Henry the Navigator, the figures and the wind rose, from the outside.
A pastel tasting, with the queue skipped. Jerónimos is seen from the van on the way.
Back in town for the cafés and churches of Chiado.
The riverside square and the end of the tour.
★★★★★This time I wanted to try doing something different, mainly because I was with my mother but I was afraid of tiring her out too much. The tour was very relaxed, we had many breaks to enjoy the view and walk more comfortably.
★★★★★The tour was an overview of Lisbon and Belém, where we saw the city viewpoint, Jerónimos Monastery, Discoveries Monument, Belém Tower, and ate the traditional Pastéis de Belém. The main attraction was the guide Rafael, super nice, dear, kind, and polite.
★★★★★She has incredible knowledge of the history and corners of the city, but what really makes the difference is her passion, her energy, and her sense of humor. [...] also recommending the best local places to eat and enjoy.

Not on the shared tour. The exclusions list hotel pickup and drop-off except on the private option, so plan to meet at the LivingTours office, Rua da Conceição 23 in the Baixa.
30 minutes, outside the monument. Entry isn't included; the monument's own ticket is EUR 10 in 2026 and free with a Lisboa Card.
No. The itinerary passes Jerónimos without stopping. For an hour inside, look at the walking tour with monastery tickets.
One pastel de Belém tasting at the bakery, with the queue skipped. Other food and drinks are extra.
