Lisbon Bike Tour · Parque Eduardo VII
Lisbon Bike Tour starts you at the top of Parque Eduardo VII and lets gravity do the work: down Avenida da Liberdade, through the Baixa to the river, then flat along the water to Belém. It's the bike tour for people who don't do hills, children included.

Lisbon's hills scare people off bikes. This tour gets round them by starting at the highest point. You meet at the fountain at the top of Parque Eduardo VII, ride down past Marquês de Pombal and Avenida da Liberdade, stop at Restauradores, São Domingos church and Praça da Figueira, and reach the river at Praça do Comércio. From Cais do Sodré it's the flat riverside path past the Santo Amaro docks and MAAT all the way to Belém. Guests put the ride at about 14 km.
On the way you get a break with a pastry and a drink. Guests describe a pastel de nata and a shot of ginjinha, the local cherry liqueur. The guide talks at each stop and handles the traffic, which matters downtown.
The Padrão is a five-minute photo stop, then Belém Tower gets the same. No entry, and the EUR 10 monument ticket is not included. Guests say the tour finishes in Belém, so you can lock the day there: go up the Padrão, visit Jerónimos, and take the train back from Belém station. Return transfers are not part of the price.
Meet by the fountain at the top of the park (Alameda Cardeal Cerejeira), get your bike and helmet, then a short stop at Marquês de Pombal.
Avenida da Liberdade, Restauradores, Rossio, São Domingos church and Praça da Figueira, with short stops.
The riverside square, and the snack and drink stop guests mention.
Cais do Sodré, the Santo Amaro docks, under the 25 de Abril bridge and past MAAT.
Photo stops outside both monuments. The tour ends in Belém.
★★★★★Had a great tour from the top of the city down to Belem, gentle downhill all the way stopped for complementary shot of Ginjinha Portuguese cherry liqueur and a Pastéis de Nata in the main square. [...] Bikes were all in great condition.
★★★★★Really a great option for families!! [...] this tour would take kids because the entire tour was planned downhill or flat so it was easy to accommodate families of all biking ages and skill. The stops were perfectly planned and so was the explanation of the history.
★★★★★We were a little concerned about riding bikes at our age and through a busy city like Lisbon. But it was SO fun! [...] This tours ends in Belém so you can do more exploring on your own at the end.
