Ticket Online · Belém Tower, Avenida Brasília
Belém Tower reopened in May 2026 after a year of restoration, with timed slots and a daily cap. This listing holds an entry ticket for you and a host stays with you until you're in, which helps when the official slots for your day are gone.

This isn't a tour of the Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Monument to the Discoveries). It's a ticket for Belém Tower, the 16th-century fort on the water 1 km west along the river. The tower closed in April 2025 for restoration and reopened in late May 2026 with a new timed-entry system: slots every half hour, about 60 people each.
What you get: an admission ticket, a host who meets you at the tower and stays until you go in, and a brief history. There's no guide inside, so you climb the tower on your own. The official ticket is EUR 15 for an adult, sold by Museus e Monumentos de Portugal, and the tower is open Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 to 17:30.
Two warnings. This listing is non-refundable: Viator marks it as a final sale that can't be changed. And it costs more than the official ticket. It earns its price when the official slots are sold out, which one guest found was "the only way to get a ticket on short notice". Afterwards, walk 15 minutes east along the river to the Padrão and buy its EUR 10 ticket (the monument's ticket page).
Your voucher shows the entry time. Plan to be at the tower a little before it.
Meet the host at Belém Tower on Avenida Brasília.
The host fills you in on the tower while you wait for your slot.
Climb the tower at your pace: the bastion, the balconies and the terrace over the Tagus.
About 1 km east along the river. Buy the EUR 10 ticket and go up for the view back over Belém.
